Dean ;  I stumbled across this page while I was looking for information about the best time to see the wild rhodendron forest near Hope.   Your photos are truly stunning.  My partner has just come running in from the other room to find out what I was mouthing some very colourful expletives,  beyond the "wow" level !  Are you still happy with your Canan 6D.  I am still using my Nikon D5000 ( 2009 model);  I may be looking for an upgrade this year.  I am a real Nikon fan.

Cheers and happy easter.

Thank-you Son. With the recent purchase of a Canon 6D I realize that it's not the camera that takes pictures, it's the person holding it. Although the 6D makes my old Xsi feel like a toy.

Your photos are beautiful. You are a classic example of "gears doesn't matter". No top of the line camera or lens yet your photos are already top notch.

Hi Yvonne, thanks for taking the time to comment, I'm glad you like Moul Falls. I can't wait to go back to Wells Gray with Serea and see more of this great park.

Thank-you Nicolas, I'm trying to raise my standards so I don't post as many photos as I used, but the ones I do post are my best work. No, I haven't got the 5D mk II yet :( and it seems that by the time I can afford it there'll probably be something newer that I'll want. I'm going to be spending a week by the ocean in July so hopefully I can can get some great shots!

Thanks Nicolas. Out of almost 15,000 shutter activations over the course of about a year one can only hope for a few really good shots:D. I thought I was getting a really good camera until I started looking into which cameras the pros were using. Now I have my sights set on a Canon 5D MK II. I'm gonna have to save a few pennies first.:)
