About half an hour west of Lillooet is the turn off for Downton Creek. The forest service road isn't in great shape so it's slow-going to the trailhead. It's a short trip to the first lake but from there the options are almost limitless. Devin and I explored the lower basin before setting-up camp and watching the stars. I planned to do some exploring in the morning but the weather didn't cooperate. Always a next time.
