 This hike has been in my sights for years. I've hiked to the memorial maybe 7 or 8 times but never up to the propeller cairn. The walk through the lower forest isn't particularly exciting. The only views are when you cross the river over the new bridge and a few peek-a-boos of the Rexford Group across the valley until you reach the Memorial.
