'Twas the year of long drives and while Squamish isn't that far from Chilliwack, when you add in the forest service road it makes for a long day. This trail is mostly kilometers of well graded old logging road with a bit of travel through the forest. At the end of the road the trail tips skyward and deposits you at the side of the lake. I'd hoped to catch a break in the cloud cover but it was not meant to be.
